Our Commitment
Meminit is committed to the safety and protection of children. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits or endangers minors.
Prohibited Content
Our platform strictly prohibits the creation, distribution, or storage of any content that sexually exploits or abuses minors. Any such content will be immediately removed, and the responsible accounts will be permanently banned.
Reporting Mechanism
You can report a child safety concern directly in the app: open Account, choose "Send feedback", and select "Safety concern". Safety reports are never limited by the usual cap on how much feedback you can send, so this route is always available to you. Reports sent this way reach us with the weekly summary each Sunday. For anything urgent — and for anything involving a child's safety — email comgamemarre@gmail.com instead, which reaches us the same day.
Compliance
If we become aware of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or of any other child sexual abuse or exploitation involving Meminit, we remove the content, disable the account responsible, and preserve the related records. Meminit is operated by an individual developer based in the Republic of Korea. Our primary reporting routes are the Korean National Police Agency's cyber crime reporting system (ecrm.police.go.kr) and, where content review or takedown is needed, the Korea Communications Standards Commission (report.kocsc.or.kr, 1377). Where a matter involves users or content outside Korea, we also file a report with the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children through its public CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org. We are not a registered NCMEC Electronic Service Provider. We respond to lawful requests from law enforcement authorities.
Prevention Practices
Meminit is a private notebook. The notes you write are visible only inside your own account — they are never published, shown to other users, or made searchable. The only thing you can make public is your own share profile, which you create deliberately, whose contents you choose, and which you can revoke at any time by resetting your code. There is no public feed and no way to share images with other users. The only place an image can be attached is a feedback message to the developer: it is held privately until the weekly summary is emailed, then deleted from our storage. Because of this, child sexual abuse material — which in law is a visual depiction — cannot be published or distributed through this app. If such material is ever sent to us, we report it to the relevant authorities and close the account responsible. Meminit is built and maintained by one person. We do not run automated content scanning and we do not have a moderation team, and we do not claim to. Instead we act on reports. You can open Account, choose "Send feedback", and select "Safety concern" — reports sent that way reach us with the weekly summary each Sunday. If a matter is urgent, email comgamemarre@gmail.com instead, which reaches us the same day; for anything involving a child's safety, please use email. Where we confirm a violation we remove the content, revoke the share link, and close the account responsible without undue delay.
